Seth Horstmeyer joined the Pew Environment Group in 2008 as an officer in the field department and is now senior officer responsible for oversight of field operations in 25 states.

Previously, Horstmeyer worked more than six years for the National Environmental Trust (NET) field department in various capacities. Before arriving at NET, he worked for the Environmental Investigation Agency, an international development nonprofit organization that investigates and exposes environmental offenses. Earlier, he served as a development and marketing associate for the National Park Foundation, where he helped generate financial support for the National Park Service.

Horstmeyer holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Miami University.
